Stamp A Stack from Last Week

I thought I'd share with you quick what we did at Stamp A Stack last week. This first one is the cutie from TAC's Fall Supplement in the Fall Harvest Set. The whole set is only $13.95 and has some of the cutest images for the season. I just love this one! We used Prisma Watercolor Pencils with a blender pen and then added Stickles to just the flower.

This used a reverse embossing technique with the Cuttlebug dies. Something I hadn't tried before but found it to be fun and pretty painless! All you need to do is brayer the embossing folder before you run it through your machine and all the ink hits the "not-embossed" part of the card. 'Course you couldn't be done until you added Stickles!

Here we're using the bird from Fall Harvest (same set as above) but in a not-so-fall way. Just shows how versatile those images are! This is Belle Rose Palette ink on simple white cardstock. Just layering some different elements gives you this look. I had to add the punch of black with the ribbon, scallop punch and journaling pen on the bird. So fun!

Did you know that's our Butterfly Bits stamp set in Brilliance ink on the black? My girls stamped out a half sheet of that for background paper and had enough to do all 4 cards.

And this was the grand poo-pa. And it was a poo-pa! Right Jen? I pre-cut all the inserts on my Cricut, but the scoring measurements I gave the girls on Tuesday night were not quite what they needed in order for the card to work right! A great big CRAP!! We made it through though and I learned a very valuable lesson... "Figure it out before the class starts!!"
It's never a total loss. I think the girls had fun making fun of me and I had fun joking back.
Did you know you could create the whole "ticket" look by just lobbing the corners of a rectangle with a circle punch? That's how we achieved the yellow piece on the front. Kinda fun, huh?

I hope you'll be at my next Stamp A Stack--Stay tuned for details!
Happy Stampin'!!
